Rediscover how GOOD television can be.
Think of this channel as a sort of Winnipeg educational television channel. There are tonnes of stories to tell about our city and our region and there aren't very many resources out there that do it the way it should be told -- through moving images.
The video clips seen here are from the local CBC and CKND newscasts of the 1980s, 90s, and today.
There are also clips from former local cable company, Videon.
I have also thrown in some of my own work and clips that I've appeared -- usually at City Hall.
I'm currently looking for additional news clips from CBWT and CKND prior to 1987, First Choice pay-tv 1983-84, and Canada AM prior to 1983.

I'm actually moving to Edmonton in a months time. I hope we can keep in touch through youtube though, as I am pretty sure we'll be moving back after a couple of years. I do intend to continue my research here locally so I'll be back and forth a bit between the two cities. It's too bad, I've built up a great social network in the city, so to lose all that and start over again is a bit rough.
