can I do this with prerecorded guitar tracks? I recorded my cd and do not want to have to do it again, but the guitars lack umph in them, too thin etc...so can I colour them or do you 100% have to record through the computer?

@Darkit2099 I feel that is why the album is looked at as their best because of the lack of bass guitar, then after people fell in love with it they dissect it and want even more perfection. I for some reason have always been able to hear the bass guitar in the original studio album.

@kilulafo I gave this another listen after the last time I commented and the sound is growing on me, I still feel its a couple db's too loud for a proper mix, but if the album came out like this at that time it was released I think Metallicas career path would have been alot different.
