Autorestomod, I did not understand the scribe part on the valence. Did you clamp the valence to the fender, then drilled to add more holes for bolts/nuts, making the fit tighter?

Although I have not driven the car, Lizard Skin seems like it made metal panels quieter. I used a standard brush to put down this material. I probably did 3-4 layers with a 3 inch brush.
