Quicksand deaths are not myths..it doesn't happen often that's all, and not in the same way as it is depicted in movies.Or they go unreported. So many notorious no-go zones in the world it could never be a myth..Morecambe Bay in England, Arnehm Land Australia, the Sunderbans of India/Bangladesh, Um as Samim Saudi Arabia, Qatarra Depression in Libya/Egypt..plenty of places where a wrong step could be your last.
