All right, my very first Chicago bicycling video for 2009! I make these as supplements to the customized bike maps I create for Google [jasonpettus.com/maps]; this one goes with a new map this year, detailing the various inner-city enhanced bike lanes on Chicago's northside, designed specifically for locals making daily errands and visiting friends (or in other words, not just for tourists, like so many of the parks' winding bike lanes.) This trip finds me going from Uptown to Lincoln Park for a sunset cocktail, via Southport down there and Halsted back, a total journey of seven miles (11 km). (less info)
