Its not that bad at all, much better than a Van Damme movie and 100s of times better than a chinese Bruce Lee clone movie. Something like a Kwai Chang Cain(Kung FU) crossed with Mad Max. Its pretty good in my opinion.

You fail to mention if the velociraptors are IDE or SATA drives. IDE is limited to 133MBs no matter how many drives you put in the RAID. You need to create a SATA3 RAID0 which tops out at 600MBs then run the test.

Is that a wired 100Mbit network. Speed of 100Mbit should be about 10Mbytes per sec (ideally 12.5Mbytes per sec). 56Mbit wireless=7Mbytes per second, but ONLY when connected at 56Mbits. If your signal weakens, you connection speed will drop to something like 36Mbits then 24Mbits and maybe lower. Correspondingly your Mbytes per sec will drop for 36Mbit=4.5Mbytes per sec, 24Mbit=3Mbytes per sec ... etc...

Whats going on here?.... 450Mbits per sec = 56Mbytes per sec. Why are you only getting 11.25Mbytes per sec maximum. You should be hitting over 30Mbytes per sec at least to give a total time of about 900/30= 30 seconds. So whats happening, is the manufacturer ripping customers off by feeding off their ignorance.....

Yeh, I thought may be it was, I tried on two different systems with the same results. I can play other Youtube videos with perfect smoothness. Even tried HTML5. The video draw rate should be vsyncing to my monitor (60Hz) even though the motion within the video may be at 25Hz. Not happening.

First, why are thy taking up the whole of their lane. They should be in single file. Second, any considerate road user (motorist or cyclist) would have realised the lorry is a heavy goods vehicle that requires more room to manouevre and moved over to provide as much space as possible for the lorry to safely pass. Too many arrogant cryclists on the road make the roads unsafe for all. Whatever happened to road sense, certainly these cyclists and you seem to desperately lack.

Of course, those who spend the cash on 120Hz monitors need to then justify the purchase so any reason will do even twisting reality so that their irrational actions can seem to be sane. Carry on....

Why would I waste my time and efforts with 120Hz. Human eyes will never see any difference. Also, then you need to buy a new gfx card that will not drop below 120fps. Any time it does, you get stuttering. Easier to get a gfx card that will maintain higher than 60fps and keep sync with 60Hz display. 120Hz very stupid idea. Only gullible fools with too much money fall for all that marketing bullshit.

Best setting = game vsync off, card force vsync on. Smooth fps all the way.

Enabling Vsync, when fps is less than 60fps but greater than 29fps and monitor refresh=60Hz will reduce frame rate to 30fps non torn. You might get a little stuttering, but still..., no tearing. Vsync eliminates tearing. Its better to have a little stuttering than horrible tearing.
