The radio probablly does work it is the power switch on the head unit.Those older Delco radios had a problem with the switches.Here is how I fixed the radio switch on a Chevy Celebrity.Buy a pack of gum chew a few pieces remove switch and stilck chewed gum in there.All fixed ha ha!

The 301 was a good motor.Although the emission and tunning required then lowered its hp.The 2.5 liter iron duke 4 cyl was this engine cut in half.Both cam out in 1976.The last true Pontiac motors. I grew up in a Bonneville sedan of this era.Our Bonneville was traded in on a 6000 LE wagon in 1985.
