This was the final version but went through a few tweaks near the end waves when the ogres starting breaching my defenses. I removed harpoons that weren't doing any damage, and I put them in other spots where the ogres were appearing and it helped tremendously. This setup was flawless through like 26 waves or something. After that I had to go where the ogre was and try to upgrade the failing defenses (also a few wyerverns were slipping by and attacking the crystal).
As stated as a tip, I would highly recommend an apprentice guardian to increase the damage done on the Slice 'n' Dices to kill the ogres faster before they wipe out defenses completely.
I played on hard. Heroes used: Tower Squire (Slice 'n' Dice, Spike Blockade & Harpoons), Tower Monk (ensnare & eletric auras), Tower Huntress (Etheral trap) After wave 20 I put a few of the fairies on my heroes which I would recommend as well to increase those tower stats dramatically!
Heres a great site that helps you plan out strategies: http://html5.cubi...
After the setup was complete, the defenses practically needed zero maintenance. Upgrades - ONLY triple stars to the harpoons, nothing else (makes it easier to quick upgrade if something goes wrong, plus less mana cost/the potential to lose the defense). During the wave you need to upgrade the auras once when the enemy count passes 750, side note my aura health was 510 so if less might have to go through two upgrades per wave. Then upgrade ALL auras once, they will last the rest of the match. After each wave, sell the auras, and rebuild; repair everything thats damaged.
Hope this helps anyone in need and wants a different strategy, good luck!

Ever feel like its impossible to make enough mana to upgrade all your equipment, or that it takes way too long? I did also and was glad to have found this method to make some fast mana to upgrade all my stuff! All you need is a lvl 70 Huntress with decent stats (a strong blasticus weapon) You need to play the challenge Ogre Crush on HARD difficulty. You will receive the High Five weapon for the Squire. Once you get it (or a few of them), go to the forge and upgrade ONLY elemental damage.
Two important things when knowing what is profitable upgrade or not. You MUST have 150 elemental minimum & 21+ upgrades. If you have like 29 upgrades and say 75 element, use the first few upgrades that are cheap to see if its worth fully upgrading. If it doesn't hit 150 elemental and still have 20 upgrades left, its not worth it. These minimums will give you 1 million profit. You can make up to 5-7 million in profit for each one, and an hour of High Five farming could easily get you 15 million mana. Enjoy! Hope this helps those in need to get a lot of mana faster
