Really, This just has to be ported from a AGA Amiga version, this looks and sounds just like a Amiga game ! I bet that this is MOD music aswell.

@Fyllis I geuss you played it in NTSC ? then the game becomes almost unplayable, also play the Amiga version, its much better :) because Zool was a semi Mascot for the Amiga to rival Sonic.

Thanks for uploading this, "Rock and Zool" (being a Zool fan I should know the track names :) ) at 7:20 sounds like the composer wanted IBM PC's to look lame compared to Amiga's, I'm very curious how the sound effects will sound like with the MT-32, can you please upload a video of the gameplay ...

@htdmc2010 The Amiga has a beautiful library of games like the NES and SNES, the thing is that the Amiga itself is very unfortunately is forgotten by the "retrogamers" and the media, the biggest reasons are, 1, the Amiga isn't a console and people that are interested in gaming history aren't both...

@RockstarGamesHD1 There are various ways to make a PS3 controller work on a PC, tho I understand if you prefer the PS3 because of the exclusives or such.

@StylishFriends Can be a nod to old PC (Commodore 64, Amiga, Atari ST,DOS etc) games from the 80's & 90's, where most games where played with a one button joystick which was called the "Fire button".

Same here, I played the alpha (and completed it) and this track is so nostalgic, although never being released it has something probably to do with being born in 1995 when.MOD, Soundblaster and General MIDI music was common....

@Kuokka77 If you're still interested, there are two versions of this track, this is the beta one which was in a CU Amiga/Amiga power (?) coverdisk, then there is the one featured in the final which is faster and has some extra samples (such as laughing and shattering glass)

@JasonLee310 No, the Amiga version has a larger resolution, they both uses the exact same graphics but due to the Amiga's larger playingfield they appear smaller.

@nintygaming Nope, the Commodore Amiga was king when it comes to audio, Tho it has less channels, the sound quality was much better because it didn't have Sound RAM limitations unlike the SNES (which I think only can 64KB samples), the lost vikings is also on Amiga but that game is not a great ex...

Any Amiga 1000 video is awesome !, the "screensaver" mode you're talking about is to switch between RGB mode and composite mode (the red,white,yellow cables), and the "green screen" button is for monocrome video I think since Amiga 1000's and 500's came with a monocrome output as well,
