When I was younger, this song made me realize I was with the wrong guy cause "For every time that we spent laughing, there were two times that I cried." I have used that criteria to judge a relationship ever since.

I've always loved this song! It reminds me of a guy I used to know who never loved me the way I loved him. I didn't know what Kenny Nolan looked like at the time. I never knew he was so cute!

Ronney Abramson's father, Henry Abramson was one of my teachers at Dawson College in Montreal. He taught a film class. She was nominated for a Juno Award a couple of times for best female vocalist, but she always lost to Anne Murray.

@kimmybutler1 Hi, my name is Janice. I met your father, Marty, on this date (November 8) in 1983. He was my favourite singer and it was a real thrill for me to meet him. He had a wonderful voice and I miss him very much.

I really like this video! I remember when I used to listen to this song on the radio I would close my eyes and picture each thing as he sang about it. (night in the forest, mountains in springtime etc) so this video illustrates this song really well.

Marty sang this song for me once at the Bellair Cafe in Toronto, and I will never forget how wonderful it made me feel! This song was the first 45 I ever bought in 1973. I'm so glad there are some people besides me who still remember his music.

I bought the whole album just for this song, and I ended up liking a lot of the other songs as well. It was very different and jazzy.
This is my favourite song from a great Canadian group, the Bells. It was written by another great Canadian singer, Marty Butler, who I met in 1983.
