2001 my dad bought AFO. I loved little l and love foolosophy and it all grew from there :). Canned heat soon became my favourite song and it has been ever since.

When did you become a fan?. 2005 for me, the song that did it for me was seven days in sunny june. Loved it and yes suprising enough Dynamite was the first album I listened too. I known of Virtual Insanity and canned heat but I was too young to appreciate them.

I think AFO is one of their best albums anyway, it has some truly great tracks on it. But yeah, there are a few tracks which are kind of average on there, and there are some other tracks which were made for the album which definately should have been on there but weren't. It's not important anymore anyway, it's done and can't be changed. It got to number 1 as you said, and it's one of their most successful albums, so I think it can be regarded as a success overall. I just hope the next album will be a massive success, Jamiroquai needs it if it's going to survive in this "crazy world we're livin' in". Let's face it, RDLS was not a big success, even though it's technically a very good album compared to the other rubbish which has been released in recent years. They need another Virtual Insanity moment.

Ive been wondering for so long, even to this day why Sony fucked up Funk Odyssey so badly!. If they left the original, people would had definitely appreciated it much more. Ok so it got number 1 but many jamirofans are againist it. The original had 17 tracks (2 intermissions) and I actually love the main 5 they omitted.

I agree, they need to change the setlist a bit. I am also very happy to say that I was at one of the 70 :), and at hyde park in 2010 too. I'll definately be going next time they are in the UK as well :D. I believe dotfunk are playing at the jazz cafe over the next few days!
