@dewycatt2112 Could be different tubes or could be the older amps are "burnt in". Also could be older amps have had the bias adjusted to run hotter and sound warmer.

@DeckhandDavy The only issue is with the iPad which on some systems won't charge through a computers USB when it's being used. I find connected to my laptops the iPad will only charge with the screen off. Using the wall adapter it's fine though.

Sounds fairly authentic, my 5150 is going in the shop today so I'm going to give this a try through a Fender amp =)

The Apple website says "Multitasking Gestures for iPad" and not iPad 2 so I imagine the final version will support the iPad. Apparently with the beta the only way to get the feature on the original iPad is to edit a file on jailbroken device.
