J.ALLEN is an Alternative/New Grunge three-piece band from a small town near Athens, Greece (what they love to call their own Monaco ).

With influences ranging from Seattle's Grunge scene and 90's alternative bands,the band has branched out to play in many venues all over Greece,mainly Athens.

J.ALLEN recorded their first full-length album in summer 2006.

The record is entitled "THE CHAIR OF SIGMUND FREUD", including 10 tracks and has already received many positive reviews from the local press and fans.

''Xanax'' appeared on'' INDIE sampler v.5'' of Skratch Magazine (California,USA- 5000 free copies distributed to record labels,A&R reps and PR companies) and on ''Europavox complilation 2007''(which presents european artists,one for each country of Europe and each main music genre).

At the moment, the band is in search of a label and a way to effectively promote it's work.

"We are open to any kind of promotion, management, booking and maybe a more clever storyteller".
