Ery Nugroho is a Jeet Kune Do and Grappling instructor under Yuri Amadin (http://www.jkdindonesia.com/ ). He is a skilled fighter as well as an excellent teacher in transfering his Jeet Kune Do knowledge to his students. Ery has been involved in martial arts for more than 15 years. To sharpen his skills he continues to practice various martial arts such as: Tae Kwon Do (Black Belt), Pencak Silat, Filipino Kali, and Brazilian Jiujitsu. He is a student, a teacher and a fighter. He believes that a martial artist should be able to fight to test the techniques. He participated in TKD Championship during his TaeKwonDo years, and become champions in some of them. Recently he competed in the 1st Indonesian Submission Wrestling Campionship 2005

Together with Yuri, he has coached some Indonesian mixed martial arts fighter namely Putu (TPI Fighting Heavyweight Champion), Nico Ardyansyah (TKD Champion, Duel RCTI Fighter) etc. Ery also helped Yuri teaching in seminars for some high profile companies in Indonesia.

Ery is a lifetime student of martial art, he regularly updates his skills by participating in martial art seminars such as Rodney King seminar (Crazy Monkey Boxing- www.mymalife.com) or Roy Harris seminar (JKD-BJJ - www.royharris.com) in Jakarta.
