My name is Jake Theriault, and this is a collection of videos I created, most of which were made at the age of 12-14. Most are pointless and pretty brash. I'd say if your over the age of 15 and have a brain, don't lower your intelligence by subjecting yourself to the content of these videos. Everyone else, enjoy. In my childhood this is was what I did for a hobby, and I am glad that my interest in multimedia design at a young age helped me get a start on building those skills early on.

I have much more to tell about the story behind this channel and the works, but what's the sense in telling if my audience is a bit to young understand where I'm getting at? I'm sorry, but if i were a 12 year old boy the last thing I would want to do would be to sit down and read a long passage on a YouTube channel written by some nostalgic, sentimental, and confused seventeen year old.

Anyway, as it stands, I guess I'll say it: I won't be making anymore stopmotion animations. I apologize to my young fans, as well as the older ones; I'm sure you'll understand. Making RAOL was a great way for me as a kid to dive into a free reality to call my own, but now it's time to move on.

I shouldn't be too harsh on myself, I know, but it is time for me to just grow up. More than i care to admit, I have changed so much from that child I was four years ago: now, I think about what I feel, I bring my thoughts into words and actions much better than I used to, and above all, I search as best I can for knowledge of all kinds. And with all those new things on my agenda, I just don't see the space or time for making pointless, brash stopmotion animations. I hesitate to call my childhood brainchild as such, but it's the truth.
Though almost any creator of any work of art on this planet would say "I'd just like to tell my fans, thank you for being there," I still mean it. Thanks guys. Seriously. It was a fun journey that helped make my childhood a happy one, however unglamorous it may have seemed in the eyes of the world, a world mostly full of people who are in obvious moral and intellectual decline. I dunno, maybe that's just America. But then again, who am I to judge another? I haven't even spent two decades living on this fascinating planet.
