@MegaBystrom the air pressure is sustained and and reflected much more efficiently. it doesnt open up the area and kill sound waves by having them hit uneven moving surfaces. same reason you want a smooth solid box.

@D3AThCAl2DS with that much air pressure unless you plan on reinforcing everything with solid steel tubing or flat bars, you will never stop flex. i think the goal is to eliminate all unwanted annoying rattles and make for better sound quality with more sound friendly surfaces.
