Aziza is our 4 year old Triton Cockatoo, She is shy and I apologize about the cell phone video quality. I am trying to catch her in the act of singing, talking & vocalizing( her random household noises she mimics) and she knows the video camera and shuts down immediately when she sees it. I figure if I do it often enough I will either A) get her used to it. OR B) catch her on tape. lol
I also have a cockatiel his nameis LUCKY. he is 17-19 years old...or more we are not sure. Long story he found us about 12 years ago...we just took him in, fell in love with him and take care of the little guy. I will post videos of him soon.
On a current note:
I am glad that the election is over the Political tension was very heated. Now it's a time to heal & work together to unite this country and restore it's former glory.
Everyone should support the troops and never forget the sacrifices they make every day for us. No matter how you feel about President Obama ( which I voted for!! ) he is our leader and please show him respect.
As well as I would appreciate if you would not leave racist messages on my page. They will be deleted- So don't waste your time.
On a personal note:
I am very passionate about many causes and tend to lead with my heart. Any kind of cruelty to people animals etc.. I cannot tolerate. My husband and I have three beautiful children and obviously am happily married. (22 years) So NO!! I am not gonna show my boobs, NO I do not want your picture and I will not give you my cell number so we can chat.
Moving on now~
The back ground picture on my profile page is of my cat. He was my little fat man!! Pepper passed away in March of 2008 and he lived a long happy life. ( almost 16 years) He was much loved and will be missed. I have found I hard to even look at his picture until recently.
I guess time does heal all things. Still not ready to see the videos we have of him. I will post them when I can. I love all my pets deeply, my birds are still healthy and quite a handful. LOL
Peppers passing made me appreciate them more-even on days when they chew the banister, crap on the freshly cleaned floor or nibble all the buttons off the remote control. grrrr
Hug and snuggle with your children & pets everyday... And make sure they know how much you love them-no matter how busy your life gets.
(or how bad they behave at times...:wink:)
OHH and recently a female stray cat that looks alot like Pepper has been visiting our back yard.(hunting birds) I have been able to pet her a few times and made a nice warm bed ofr her. She is very cautious. Look like she is about 1 year old at best in good health. Once I have her trust I am gonna get her fixed and we will see if she can fit into our family. She is almost identical to Pepper but has golden cinnamon smears on her nose.
Hence -I call her cinnamon(minnie)
My concern is the bird hunter in her is already there. I have two birds that have free flight almost 12 hours a day. I would not want to see them get hurt for a cat doing what comes natural.
I will keep you updated as to how Cinnamon is doing...either way she will end up with a good loving home.
