For Full Quality on All my Evo Videos: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=0d8593b7d66f42fc95af63b7d44918aac382e5df523d70ab
I apologize for the horrible quality of these videos, but I had a P3 500 MHZ 384 MB RAM Dell Opitplex GX1 using AutoGK to encode these videos. All videos are ripped straight off the
Official Evolution 2003 Tournament DVD's, all of which were single layer discs meaning there
were *4* discs in total (now the DVD Set for the most recent years are 2 DVD's). I bought these DVD's back when they were offered in 2003/2004 on evo2k.com or shoyruken.com, if you want to know where I get these matches from. Source video for all matches is XVID 448x336 resolution (meaning sorry no high quality versions :( ). Also the matches were all recorded on VHS Tape to DVD so that's why you might see some screen tearing and other things that worsen the video quality. You're lucky I even took the time to encode these videos seeing how it took me weeks to encode all these videos given my extremely slow processor. And no I
dont feel like going back and encoding all 189 (!) matches in a higher quailty! I'm just a huge Evo fan and know alot of people never got their hands on the early years of Evo before it became really popular. A few notes/disclaimers about the videos: My discs are scratched so I'm missing 5-10? matches from various games, so do NOT ask me to post matches that I don't have or ask for semi-final matches which aren't on the disc, or other matches that I don't have. Also some player names are wrong, most notably in the Marvel Vs Capcom 2 5 on 5 Event. However this is due to the fact that there are no hardcoded subtitle player names for the entire 5 vs 5 set of matches (and even then the subtitles themselves were hard to read) on the DVD's. If it wasn't for the VCR time codes you see in the lower left hand corner of the screen, even more of the player names would have been incorrect. I spent 2-3 hours going back and watching each match to determine who was in each match, and by process of elimiation figured out what the names were, but some matches had the exact same 3 characters
vs the exact same 3 characters, so it got pretty confusing. If you see a match with a wrong player name, politely post in the comments what the correct names are and I will do my best to corrct the names. I have the Evo2k3, Evo2k6 and Evo2k7 DVD sets, but doubleperfectproductionsllc took down all my Evo2k7 vids, probably because that year is
pretty recent and you can still buy the DVD's for 2007. I have heard nothing that makes me think the Evo tournament producers will ever reprint Evo2k3 DVD's or any other year,
especially since DVD produciton for the Evo tournament takes alot of money and resources, and no profit is made from the DVD sales. (I think they actually lose money...) Anyway, enjoy my videos, comment on them if you wish, etc.
