Here is the entire "America" number (from WEST SIDE STORY) as performed by the original Broadway cast of JEROME ROBBINS' BROADWAY (1989). Featuring Charlotte d'Amboise as Anita; Debbie Shapiro (Gravitte) as Rosalia and as the Shark girls: Barbara Yeager, Nancy Hess, Elaine Wright and Renee Stork. This was part of the WEST SIDE STORY Suite which contained ALL of the dance numbers from WEST SIDE STORY. Music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Choreography by Peter Gennaro with some touch-ups by (of course) Jerome Robbins (it WAS his show after all).
