About this user
I'm a 15 year old (Year 10) English girl.
My real name is Sophie, but I like my nickname 'Fruser'. My friend Shaz came up with it. Freak + Loser = Fruser! (She loves me really) There are several variations of it including 'Fruse' and 'Frusli'.
People would probably describe me as an 'emo' cuz of the way I dress and the sort of music I listen to, but I don't cut myself or nothing like that. Why do people think that 'emo' is synonymus with 'self-harm', 'depression' and stuff like that???
My music and fashion tastes would probably be classed as emo, goth, punk or alternative. However, in my heart I'm more of a hippy. I love nature and music festivals (WOMAD '08 was brilliant!) and support - morally, not financially - charities such as Greenpeace and Campaign For Nuclear Disarmament / CND. I am strongly pascifist: MAKE LOVE NOT WAR!
I also get labelled as a 'Boff'. It's true that I'm classed as 'gifted and talented' and all my GCSE targets are A*, but I'm never in a million years actually going to get A* for everything, I never get my homework in on time and I was excluded from Maths last term. In my opinion: Bright does not = Boff.
I get hyper VERY easily and I often get a stitch from laughing too much. I can't help it - I just love having fun. That doesn't mean I'm completely stupid though. I don't smoke and I'm tee-total. Those are 2 characteristics which I will never change about myself.
MY MATES:
(this is in no particular order. sorry if I've left anyone out)
Shaz, Jojo, Augs, Amy, Clancy, Benana, Zander, Hareeeee!, Jones, Em, Nici, Jade L, Rafey, Jasz, Jess F, Dan, Georgie, Bexii, Bethany, Jess C, Jade G, Alex, Jenny...
I live in a house FULL of females. There's me, my mum, my little sister Katie, 3 tortoiseshell cats called Cleo, Pumpkin and Nutmeg, a blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Poppy, 4 Pekin Bantam chickens called Wendy, Bella, Harriet and Juliet (and also some fish of both genders). I'm a veggie and Katie is sort-of (she eats fish).
I've always been an atheist, but I do try my hardest to be respectful to religious peoples. I must say, I don't really understand the idea behind agnosticism - you either do believe in a god or you don't believe in a god! How can you possibly do both at the same time?
Something I feel I have to mention is my hatred of America. Sorry to any proud Americans out there, but don't worry, I don't hate the individual people, just the country, generally. And I don't hate EVERYTHING about the USA. Note that a lot of my favourite films and musical artists are American, plus a lot of my favourite actors and comedians, and many of my heroes, are also Yanks. Quite a few of the things I object to or dislike are particularly linked to the red-necks of the Southern states, but could apply to the whole nation, and to other nations in the world. I don't like: rap, hiphop or RnB music, general chavviness, widespread obesity, the fact that you have to pay for medical services, cars with rubbish interiors that can't go round corners properly, rascism which stemmed from slavery, the ridiculous notion of a 'war on terror', the twats who nearly killed the Top Gear team, homophobia, capital punishment, torture, Guantanamo Bay, laws that allow anyone and everyone to carry firearms, childrens' beauty contests, cosmetic surgery because of plain vanity, hypocritical contradictions such as pressurising Korea to stop its nuclear program and hunting Saddam Hussein over claims of weapons of mass destruction while the USA has TONNES of nuclear weapons / WMDs and nearly had a huge atomic war with Russia, the pathetic and silly idea that every school pupil has to pledge their illegience to the flag, support of Israel regarding the conflict in Gaza...
I don't really know what I want to do when I grow up. I know lots of things I don't want to do though: hairdresser, beatician, hypnotist, homeopath, shop assistant, receptionist, call centre worker, farmer, cab/bus driver, dentist, refuse collecter, sewer maintainer LOL!
I think maybe I should go into teaching, charity work, politics, science, medicine or the creative arts, but i dunno. I want to do something that benefits other people and makes the world a better place...
