Her musical inspirations as well as her writing style combine elements of folk, classic and modern rock, blues and jazz and her show's include an extremely eclectic mix of old and new that blend seamlessly with her own work. A self-taught vocalist as well as guitar player Jacquis first instrument was the violin which she started learning at age 6 in her hometown of Juneau, Alaska.
