The name of this tune is Weep and Moan. It is from the album Jack Pearson And William Howse. William Howse is the real thing and is as good a harp player as Jack is on a guitar. Also recorded by Jimmy Hall on his Rendezvous With The Blues.

@CrazyCow500 Whichever one was sitting on stage. That would be either a Fender Deluxe (stock) that the venue owns or it is a small class A amp made by Vintage Vacuum Tubes to a single 12" cabinet. Still, the amp is insignificant for this player. Just sayin'

@rsmeetsguitar I believe he has said that he bought it in Florida. I know that he has owned it for at least ten years. He said that he passed on the matching amp because he was short on cash at the time. His best line about is: "Man, they don't make masonite like this anymore."

Gotta love ole Possum Burns. Saw them open for Spinal Tap at the old Starwood Amphitheater in Nashville. There is a picture of them together on the inside of the insert to their first disc "Into The Twangy First Century". Best show, ever.

Rich, that is a 336 from the Gibson Custom shop. Notice that it has an extra "knob" that isn't on the stock models, a master volume control.
