Dreams come when we're awake

I try to be funny, yet insightful.Try, but not always succeeding! Is it working? Here's a metephor I made up: "Oranges are people. They can be very sweet at the right momets, but at other times, they are terrifically awful." ANd this simile "Pop music is like tomato sauce on the pasta in life. You don't really need it, but it adds some kick."
