Malta's Catholic identity dates back to 60 A.D., when Saint Paul converted the islanders of the Maltese archipelago to Christianity (Acts 27-28);and henceforth became known in Malta as the Father of the Maltese people.

From 1530 to 1798, Malta was ruled by the Order of St John (an order of knights dedicated to Christian hospices and holy war). As one can imagine, having a theocratic sate for almost three centuries had a lasting impact on Malta, its culture and people. Indeed, every aspect of Maltese culture, folklore, tradition, identity, and even social institutions (such as free healthcare and charity houses as well as church education) comes from a long tradition of Christianity, and a strong Church which is (or was) loved and supported by the people. Sadly, modern secularist ideology is infiltrating among the people-recently the Maltese people voted in favour of the introduction of divorce-a great blow to Malta Kattolicissima.

Notwithstanding the growing destruction of a millenium of culture, Malta still has some of the most beautiful religious village feasts in Europe, a famous Carnival, some of the best known Good Friday processions in the world, and a 52% majority of people who still attend mass every Sunday (the highest in all of Europe). Our national anthem remains a prayer to God, composed by one of Malta's most renowned poets, a priest.

I believe in a Christian Europe, and a restoration to our massacred culture.

I do not much like the Maltese Republic, and I'd prefer it if Malta would recognize Her Majesty Elizabeth II as Queen of Malta, as we did before 1974-however I support and respect our Republic, and will remain loyal to His Excellency the President of the Republic.

I am STRONGLY against the Islamisation of Europe, and believe that only a strong Church can restore European identity (an identity already lost with the demise of the same Church).

I STRONGLY believe in Israel's right to exist.
