Time for some update :)
the main reason i registered in youtube in the first place was because i wanted to share my figure skating video montages and of course my own skating vids. Oh well..now i have other things too but it keeps getting even better. If i have to do the math .. i have been skating for like 4-5 months total. I should also devide this time period in 2 years since there is only seasonal rink in my hometown which is there for like 2 months and is outdoors, very small with bad ice - ALWAYS. I was never really good at any kind of sport (because i never tried to be good at it) but since figure skating became a passion of mine with all kind of variations to it i decided to give it a shot. Oh well...self teaching and terrible ice all the time is not the best you can get but i always enjoy it and always had fun when i was skating. I also made some good friends at the rink who shared my passion and i am very grateful for all that. I went to like 2 amateur competitions. Both times - not really prepared to update my skills from crappy small rink to a glassy big ice in 6 minutes (the warm up was the only time i could do that) which is the main reason why my programs are hard to get. I never had a coach or choreographer or whatever. Just today (31.07.09) i finally found out that i am accepted in the university that i wanted and i am very happy about that. I will be studying Computer technologies and also living in the capital of my country where i will be able to skate as much as i want because the other great coincidence is that my university offers the sport of figure skating as a sport course.
p.s. now that is lucky :D yet wish me luck..i will live by myself for the first time...in the big city
