Hi everyone!
My name is Gitla, I'm 23 years old and I live in Israel which is a small country with stunning views.
I live in a small apartment near the sea with my love Tal and our cutest puppy Softy.
I got my first guitar from Tal and the moment I started playing on it I felt a new experience.
From this moment I knew that everything's going to change for me -- and it did.
The music and lyrics started to come out like never before -- I felt like a new world had opened for me - full of inspiration.
Since I remember myself I liked nature in every aspect of it - the birds, the trees, the mountains and the endless sea. I always give myself the freedom to go far beyond imagination when it comes to music and my music has always reflected these elements.
My father was born in Romania and his mother's name was Gitla which means "good".
I was named after her. For me this name symbolizes heritage and continuity. It also symbolizes the link between the past and the present (know where you came from and where you are going).
My mother was born in Israel. She also was a singer and used to play the accordion and the guitar when she was younger. When I was still in her womb -- so she told me -- she was singing many songs to me. I believe that I follow her way with my deep connection to music.
Since I was a little girl I loved singing. My big brother used to play the organ and I was singing to the sound of these notes while wearing my mom's boots and using a hair brush as a microphone...
At the age of 14 I started writing songs. I performed with a band and alone in every opportunity I had -- I couldn't get enough of it!
Since then, my love to music has only grown and together with Tal I'm bringing to you a new genre that reflects my personality and the changes I had in my life.
Music is everything to me. It's my greatest love and I'm happy to share it with all of you!
