IT Martini

IT Martini was founded in 2008 by John Bishop and Aladin Gohar -- who realized that IT Professionals weren't socializing as an IT Community.

They responded by starting the IT Martini event series, which brings together hundreds of IT Pros from local IT Communities to support thought leadership, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.

John & Aladin also launched IT Martini Weekly, a web newsletter connecting IT Communities with local technology events, new ideas, and job opportunities.

To date, tens of thousands of IT Pros from all over the Midwest have participated in IT Martini -- raising over $25,000 for local charities while engaging hundreds of IT leaders and early stage companies.
