100 feet would take 2.5 seconds to impact. using x=16.1*t^2 (at these speeds air resistance is negligible). All three people in this video take about 2.0 seconds (timed with stopwatch). It's likely about 60-70 feet.
Also, it's not the G's or really even the surface tension you need to worry ...
