Best bet is hopping the skytrain from the terminal and getting off at the 2nd stop - Templeton =) Its free so dont worry about having to pay .. unless you decide to take the train into Richmond or Vancouver thats when you need a transfer ticket .. But yeah the Templeton stop is maybe a 5 minute walk to runway 26R and hopefully the winds are from the west so you are able to film some jet action on approach =) Good luck buddy and happy filming!

Spotting at YVR is quite accessible either by car train or even foot =) The north runway is easier to spot from (runway 08L-26R) .. The south runway is not bad as well with the departures =) Depends if you like filming landings or takeoffs?
