Formed in 2007, isvara are a three piece Indie Fusion band from North London. isvara's uncompromising high octane rock, fuses power cords and funk. Their eclectic style blends, delinquent one-liners with spirituality and fast acid jazz beats. isvara's music reflects the complex times we live in; throwing back this uncertainty with hope and optimism, delivered with a wry smile.

Having just finished recording their debut album 'Our Time', available on download and CD, isvara is now set to hit the stage with their explosive live shows. Their first single 'Got alot on my Head' soon to be released, laces a catchy melody with the band's raw energy.

"Look how the rain is slowly draining me out, look how the walls are slowly breaking me down, a thousand reasons why I shouldn't bail out..."

Recently headlining at The Water Rats and The 333 Club isvara has a fast growing fan base awaiting future gigs planned for this year at The Horatio, The Fiddlers Elbow, The Music Palace and Cargo, with Festivals soon to follow.

Singer, songwriter Shakraj Soornack, has transformed from being a bass player and has supported acts such as James Brown, Feli Kuti and Jamiroquai, to being isvara's front-man and a charismatic performer (he recently starred alongside Oscar nominee Andy Serkis in the film 'Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll', playing the part of legendry bassist Norman Watt-Roy from The Blockheads).

'Raj', to those who know him, is accompanied in 'Our Time' by Murat Allami on drums and Jiwoon Hwang on guitar and since 2010 have collaborated with artist/curator Juan Bolivar, who produced and directed the band's first video for 'Got alot on my Head', aiming to capture the bands unique energy and personality.
