THE SPARK THAT SHINES WITHIN
It seems the best of my creative spark
happens when I step out of the way
I used to try too hard to make my mark
Now I surrender and treat it all as play
And what appears before my eyes
it blows me clean away
It's a different understanding
A willingness to be led
I don't even have to try and think things in my head
There are riches all around me
There are muses that abound
There are splendours to bring forth
and bless this holy ground
I'll stay silent now for a minute
And take all of this in
I thank the day that I learned to thank
