I am vegetarian (vegan) and consider the health and development of this planet connected to our diet. Humans consume vast amounts of animals per year which has a very detrimental effect on the worlds environment. Google it if you don't believe me. Most major outbreaks in diseases are connected to the breeding of animals for meat. Plant based production can not cause an outbreak of disease in humans.
Would you like an alien life form, farm us for their diet? So.. stop farming animals for your diet. As animals are helpless now, we might be helpless against a superior life form one day. If you believe in the ufo phenomena you have to consider to stop consuming helpless beings. I am since birth vegetarian, It is ample proof that we can live without killing animals.
