I'm Shaun Murray, a 48 year old fingerstyle guitarist from Rochester in Kent. I started learning in my secondary school years but gave up for a long time once I got to 16 - I guess a lack of motivation and inspiration were the causes! I took it up again at 36.

Most of my postings are solo arrangements of popular songs, although 'arrangements' might be too grand a word: I just really pick the melody, try to add a credible bass line, then the harmony in between almost looks after itself if you're holding down the right chord.

I'm flattered by the amount of requests I get for TABS etc. - I have committed a few arrangements to print, details of how to order them are on www.shaunmurray.biz - new ones are being added constantly.

My YouTube videos are recorded with a Sony HandyCam DCR DVD 105 with a Phillips mic SBC3020 into a Creative Soundblaster soundcard SB0490, into Windows Media format. 'Nice Room' reverb is added using the software Guitar Rig 2, made by Native instruments.
