@popomex I changed the alternator for other reasons and that certainly didn't affect the headlights. I agree with your assessment but I've inspected every grounding point and that didn't help. The last resort is new hid system. Idk I'll post back if I find something

I have the same problem with my bosch 120 amp. I ordered a new one that is rated at 150 --- did you ever solve the problem? Mine will be dropped in wednesday so I'll let you know if you'd like.
