@MrKeffer: Understand, this was 1988, when the Irish won their 10th National Championship and had an undefeated season. ND had not played Miami since 1985, when they trounced ND in coach Gerry Faust's last game 56-7 in the Orange Bowl. Lou Holtz took over in '86 and vowed to get revenge. ND d...

All my life I have wanted a '63-'64 409 w/ dual quads. You had to work on them, but when you saw one that was done right, they were wonderful. Anyone from the Detroit Dragway and Motor City Dragway era remember a 1964 silver Impala AA/Stock 409/425hp named "Quick Silver"? That baby ran strong....

Just a beautiful '64 SS. At age 18, my family had a new 1964 Impala with the 327/300 combo (Powerglide, unfortunately) that was a great car. Ran strong. My dream, as a tennager, was to have a 1964 327/300 Impala 4 speed for everyday, and a 409/425 hp Biscayne sedan for the dragstrip...fully ra...

In my opinion, simply the best. As a young teenager I saw my "idol" Gene Krupa in Detroit, had a chance to visit with him, and he was incredible. But as I grew older, I discovered the real art of drumming in Joe Morello. A "musical technician" extraodinaire. God bless you, Joe.

Sweet ride. I was raised on the great 50's and '60's cars on Woodward Avenue (Detroit area). Buddy of mine had the '64 Wildcat, 2x4, 4-speed, headers, and it ran pretty darned strong. I have always loved the so-called "odd ball" high-performers like the Buick Wildcat.
