Hi, my name is Iriana Ivelisse Alvelo and I am 22 years old. I live in NJ and currently going to Temple University in Philly. I am Puerto Rican and I love to play the cuatro. My grandfather Frankie Rivera introduced me to the cuatro and he plays awesome in Puerto Rico. I have learned to play the cuatro from Nazario De Jesus (Cuatro Teacher in Philly) and now recently learning from Cuatristas.com. I hope that one day I can play like my abuelo and my other inspirations such as Maribel Delgado, Yomo Toro, Christian Nieves, Alvin Medina and more! I also like to play the guitar and my grandmother got me started in playing. She is the first person to inspire me to play music and if it weren't for her, I wouldn't be playing anything at all! For people who don't know me, you will be surprised to know that even though I put up videos and respond to people online, I am extremely shy in person and I get socially anxious. I am trying to overcome my fears little by little by posting videos.
