What a brilliant collaberation between Quincy Jones and the greatest harmonica sound ever --- Toots Theilemans. Blends nicely with this very well constructed scene where of all people Peckingpaugh uses a flash-forward technique. It really works here. Nice job.

Well he did make the bat that resembled Redford's original version. The boy refusing to back off did seem a bit contrived though. Still, the ending is pure America as opposed to Malamud's book which has Hobbs striking out.

There is no way you can watch this movie's ending with Conti's score and not feel a stream of tears roll down your face. The slow motion only adds to the heartfelt emotion you feel. With Rocky and An Unmarried Woman, Conti ranks right up there with the great ones of all time.

I so enjoyed Miss Shahi in Fairly Legal and can't wait for the new season to begin again. Besides her excellent acting skills, she seem to be such a kind and nice person. hard to find a Hollywood star that humble and yet so sexy and beautiful as well.

One of my all-time favorites especially with the final scene. Breathtaking.

I loved this movie and mostly because Hans Zimmer's score obviated the need for much dialogue..... especially during the battle sequences. The scene where the sun rises and grazes across the fields is probably one of the most stunning cinematography I have ever seen.
