Would you give the same name to your children as someone who had oppressed and brutalized you? Notice I didnt say , name 'after' that person, but just name your children 'the same' names... Also, 'cherry picking' individual quotes means not much at all. We have all on occasion been angry and upset with our friends, and said bad thiings about them, called them names or denounced them... it does in no way mean we have 'bad relations' generally.. not at all proof. People cherry pick the Quran to try and make it look bad... same as what you are doing with the sahaba..

BTW im not 100% sure about the meaning of Abu Bakr bro......its also translated as Father of a little Camel! But Ive never heard a Camel described as such so its confusing..... Maybe you know more than me...

reason is dear brother how can you prove something from sources, you openly do not trust.... so things are much more complicated than five minute videos offering a supposed truth....I also extend this thinking to the

Abu Bakr means Father of the Virgin in Arabic....not new born child. Abu Bakr was not a common name, in fact I think he alone was named after his daughter instead of son...
