An 8th century BC political movement that took in not one but SIX other lesser deities, all of them with their particular order of war and torture-to include animal and human sacrifice, genocide, infanticide, abortion, and tribal war against other gods UNTIL they fell in line and were given a piece of the historical text.

Ask yourself: Does a dueling "god" snake fight sound like the ideology of an intellectually defined society or the superstitions of a tribally isolated, intellectually stultified society that, in their utter idiocy and ignorance, establish their very roots and fears within henotheism by staging a battle that is supposed to demonstrate their tribal gods singular superiority OVER, one of many, other gods.
