My improvisations and compositions are born of transformation: The cello becomes a lute, a whistle, a percussion instrument; the piano becomes a chapel of oscillations; the voice becomes a trumpet or a beacon. My music has been called "tribal classical," "the folk music of a planet far away," "shamanic jazz." I call it pure joy.
