@needchanneltocomment You're right, Bethesda did this in Oblivion as well. In Morrowind, most vendors had a chest full of their sellable items nearby and usually fairly easy to loot if sneaking. They most likely put the vendor chests underneath the game world since in Morrowind it was quite easy...

This has got to be one of the worst feelings in the world. You definitely made the best decision you could have, definitely glad you were able to make it out of there as easy as you did because it did not look good at about the 8 second mark.
I think the language is *totally* justified btw. lol
