About Me:

When I was young, my father gave me my first guitar. It was a cheap acoustic, and I can't remember the brand, but it was something to try to learn, and a new hobby. I went to a local store one day where they sold grab bags and was lucky enough to pick one that had a Chet Atkins album inside, and I would play the album on my stereo, and find notes and try to play along with it. Hence the profile name Inspyrdbychet. I've owned many guitars since those days, but never played them enough to improve. Really wish I would have stuck with it.

After graduating high school, my graduation present to myself was a ticket to my first live concert, which was Iron Maiden (Powerslave tour) with Twisted Sister opening for them. Been a big Maiden fan ever since.

I'm pretty much a home body, and don't get out much. Served my country (US Navy) in the mid 80's, and did my hell raising at that time. Seen too many live concerts to mention (mostly metal shows) and regret getting an overnight stay behind bars on my birthday holding tickets for Ozzy's Ultimate Sin concert, but shit happens.

The Midnight Run & Used Cars. Old episodes of Saturday Night Live. Miss Johnny Carson big time, and Big Chuck and Hoolihan/lil John as well.

Music:

Iron Maiden, Judas priest, Queensrÿche, Rush, The Fixx, Eric Johnson 80's metal is my favorite, but pretty much enjoy music from all genres other than Rap.
