Hello Elizabeth, I found your site after looking up info about Concerning Hobbits for flute - and in particular, I wanted to play this on the Low D whistle. Although I do play some piano & guitar, I do love the flute. I've a best friend who plays tin whistles & I do have an old bamboo flute too. Now with the Low D - whistle I'm learning all over again! I love the mellow tones of the low D. Primarily, I'm a singer - and have had to wait for my kids to get older - now it's my turn to return back to music. I just had to write after seeing your message for the Polar Express song, Believe.I have always wanted to return to singing, too. I'm just picking up tin whistle, but I play a few other instruments, including ukulele, french horn, and trumpet, and I just want to say that looking at your videos is a big help, and you have an absolutely lovely vibrato!
