Brogen O' Rourke

Brogen O Rourke was given just six months to live after being starved of oxygen at birth left her severely disabled. Brogen was unable to suck or swallow, see or hear. Instead her devoted mum and dad Lisa and Fintan got to cherish five and a half wonderful years and watch their courageous daughter grow into a proper little girl. Their determination to beat the odds and get their baby the best health care possible saw the couple leave their Hartlepool home, first for South Africa and then to Ireland. Her father Fintan became an internet pop star with his beautiful music, which went to Number 1 in the global download charts. He was spurred into action after his baby daughter suffered severe brain damage when she was starved of oxygen during birth.
