HI i am an AFGHAN a very proud AFGHAN. A country with more than 6000 history and culture. Afghans had one of the first civlizations of the world. It has been the home of great empires and emporers, plus the grave yard of many empires and emporers. But unfortunatly many countries and nations speciely some of our neighbor countries try to steal our history so shamlessly. Eventhough it might be difficult to write about our long glorious history,but still i will give a short description.
卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 卐 Afghanistan ancient name was ARYANA means land of aryans the first city of its people were BACTRIA(BUKHDI&bALKH)it was the home land of todays 6 afghan ethnics,They are the Aryans.Balkh is also called (Mother of all cities)Our religion was(zardashti)zoarasterism. It was the place where zoaraster(zardasht)was born him self. And it was also the first Aryan religion. Our langauge was bactrian(avestan )After yrs of unity and prosporous lifes under our first king yama and than his succesors,Bactria was invaded by invading medo-persian empire(also know as persian) empire)after strong and long resistence bactria was invaded.When persians got defeated by alexander he met the most deadly resistance in bactria which tired his army. and later he abondand his aporations in india. aryana afghansistan. Afghanistan hve been the home of empires like bactria,kushan,,ghaznav id,ghorid,hotaki,abdali, azad khan and even more. Afghans had also many other empires in india like suri dynasty,syed dynasty ,lodhi dynasty,khilji(ghilzai dynasty)and many more. nearly all central asia and south asia andother surrounding countries hve been many times ruled by afghans (pashtuns)aryans.Afghanistan have also been victim of barbarian attacks by neighbors and world powers many times.Its people is known for defeating and crushing the invader.powers like alexander, G.Britian and soviet union have crushed in afghanistan where they invaded our neighbors so easily.Today there are many afghan race(bactrian race..aryan..)that are seperated from afghanistan like N.W.F.P,(afghania) Balochistan, . We are not rascist but proud of our culture history and past that many countries wants to steal it. there are nations who had only 2 empires in 5000 of thier history but they caliam every thing of history. It just show thier feeling of inferiority which is not a healthy thing.
