BIOGRAPHY
1997: InferiBlack (drums), Fabrizio Andrada (guitar), Ariel Canca (bass) decide to form a band to play black metal. After a few months, Marcelo Torres joins up as the singer of this band and so began a long period of composition.
1998: INFERI performs many shows in the best places of Buenos Aires, supports the best locals bands of extreme metal.
1999: That summer the band signs to Furias Records and records their debut album entitled "The Call of the Dark Side", and so they become in the first black metal band in Argentina that actually edited and launched a full CD. The official presentation of this album is next to two large international bands such as INCANTATION (U.S.A) and NEUROSIS INC. (Colombia). After the shows, the band decides to incorporate new instruments to line-up. Pherguz becomes the new (keyboard and bass) and Federico Peyras joins the band as the second guitar player. At the end of that year INFERI tours all around the country to destroy the most important cities in Argentina.
2000 to 2003: Between endless gigs around the country, the composition of our second album begins. The band is recognized at the scene as one of the largest and most important in the style. Marcelo and Ariel drop out. The band goes through the worst moment so far.
2004 - 2005: I-Black, Fabrizio (founding members) and Pherguz meet a group of musicians to record their second album entitled "The Awakening of the Black Hordes" produced by INFERI, Hurlingmetal y Soul Dying Label. The presentation of the album as the support of the Swedish band, MARDUK. After the show, the band travels to the city of Corrientes to take part of a bigger and more important extreme metal festival along with more than 30 bands.
2006: In March I-Black and Pherguz join as transferor musicians to one of the biggest band and with a long history of thrash-death metal L6B6T6MY in our country to conduct an extensive South American tour. After conducting shows in the most important cities of Chile and Bolivia, and almost at the end of the tour, the band L6B6T6MY suffers a major accident on the roads of Bolivia, where the founding member and mentor to this great band, Pablo Braga, dies.(R.I.P)(1973-2006). On the other hand, I-Black gets hospitalized for 5 days in the city of Tarija, Bolivia with up to 50 stitches on his head and several traumatisms. After long months of recovery, I-Black returns to play the drums again in INFERI.
2007 -- 2008: The band restructures its music and line-up by incorporating new first rate musicians and so they start their first European tour. In june of 2008 the band played for nearly all Spain "CYCLE OF DESTRUCTION Spain tour 2008". By the end of 2008 the compositions of the third album are done.
2009: Is a great year in INFERI race, is undoubtedly a before and after. In october begins his second European tour "HERETICS & PAGANS Euro Tour 2009" with IMPERIOUS MALEVOLENCE (Brasil)
Prior to the tour, the band finish the edition of his third album, "The End of a Weak Nature" an excellent production, getting the best reviews from local and international media. This work is edited independently with support from the national label Disembodied REC for distribution and sale.
With his new work the band embarks in october 2009 for the second time in the old continent and made appearances in: GERMANY, SWITZERLAND, POLAND, HUNGARY, SLOVAKIA, FRANCE, NETHERLANDS, BELGIUM, SPAIN AND CROATIA, where "the first extreme metal band from Argentina to perform in Croatia after their bloody war.
Towards the end of 2009 the band returned to the country with the satisfaction of accomplishment and being one of the Argentine bands current representatives Extreme Metal in the old continent.
Fruit of the great repercussion of their last tour the band begins in 2010 sharing the stage with classic bands like OBITUARY, NAPALM DEATH, SUFFOCATION and KRISIUN Brazilian colleagues in their visits to the country, in addition to the bands more representative of the extreme metal of Argentina.
