About this user

Infection is a four-piece band formed in 2006 by Antonio Palacios and Guliano Canessa who, inspired by such acts as Cannibal Corpse, Death and Monstrosity started creating their own material.

Shortly after, Yesid Aranda joined the band and the band rehearsed regularly while waiting for a bassist to complete the alineation. With the inclusion of Yuri as the bassist the band was ready to perform and was included in several small venues in the Peruvian capital. At the same time, in order to promote their music, Infection entered "Hellcat studios" to record an EP. Before the public release, an special hand-numbered edition was distributed along press and persons related to the underground metal scene.

"Nothing but scum", their first production, was recorded at Hellcat studios by Félix Silva. This EP allowed the band to participate regularly in more venues. "Necrokindergarden", recorded at Audiolab Studios and //Killthepixelnow studio, is the band's second release and shows a great improvement both in sound quality and songwritting.
