Hi, my name is Ted and I would like to perfect my knowledge of English, listening every day some more British, American, Canadian or Australian series. And not only series, I like documentaries. Youtube is a good help to progress.By example I follow for several years UK series like "Midsomer Murders" or" Dr Who", american series like "Dr House", "Warehouse13" etc... and I am begining to be exhausted by post synchronization in French.
I want to follow them directly in English and progress in English with series( even though it is not at all the same of the daily life in UK or US).
I love topics related to Scotland and other related with Jamaica.
Other activities:
I am a walker and I practice regularly, nordic walking and, when I am in a good fit, nordic hiking.
The two human activities I like are walking, hiking and languages, I prefer countries with mountains (under 2000ft I could find a country boring, by example II love Perigord, this is my birthplace, but higher mountains are, there, just hills):
Regional languages/
I am not only interested in English but in non-english native languages in UK like celtics and particularly Gàilhdig (scot gaelic) and Cymraeg(welsh) if you can teach some words, "Croeso", "Fàilte"! These country, are interesting countryside too to practice long wals with poles (I am thinking about Snowdonia in Wales, Lake district in England, the Highlands in Scotland).
Loving languages is a way to stay open-minded...and walking to meet people.
Another serie I loved when I was a child with the amercians series "Daktari" and "Flipper".
