About this user

Co-creator of the hit webisodic comedy "Poor Paul," Beyer originally supported himself performing singing telegrams and dressing as cartoon characters for childrens parties, before moving to Southern California from the small Northern, CA town of Grass Valley in 1989.

Beyer created his production company Eye Scream Films in 2000, producing a number of award-winning short films and music videos, including "Pain" for the group Four Star Mary, airing on MTV and M2. 2005 marked his feature film directorial debut, with the intense drama, "Down the P.C.H.", starring Poor Paul's Zack Bennett and Guillermo Diaz (Weeds, Half Baked), picking up worldwide distribution, all while being made for a mere $40,000! His second film, "Resurrection Mary" starring Poor Paul's Kevin G. Schmidt (Cheaper by the Dozen, Princess Protection Program, Young and the Restless) and Golden Globe Winner, Sally Kirkland, is based upon the famous Chicago Urban Legend of the same name, is also available worldwide.

Recently, Beyer took on editorial duties for the campy thriller "The Telling" starring Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison, best known as Playboys Girls Next Door.

Moving away from fiction, Beyer sat in the producers chair alongside first-time director Kevin Schmidt for their collaboration on "The Alyson Stoner Project" a hybrid musical dance instructional project, starring Alyson Stoner (Camp Rock, Cheaper by the Dozen), which targets youths and focuses on a healthy lifestyle, while still being fun and entertaining.

Presently, Beyer is busy preparing for production on Season 2 of "Poor Paul," with Season 1 due out on DVD later in 2009.
