@heth6 - I've been a fan of R. Bingham for less than a decade, but for more than five. I agree with you wholeheartedly. What other people call "country", I call Nashvegas trash. Give me Bingham or Dale Watson any day.

@shimmy1952 - I agree about its beauty. I think it was nominated for an Academy Award and performed by Allison M. on their TV program. As far as country charts, I think it made the top 200, but not much better, which tells me a lot about Nashville tastes in music.

@Elephantmen1 - Yes, there are several Fat Possum artists featured in this movie: Asie Payton, Junior Kimbrough, R.L. Burnside, T-Model Ford. I believe that is one of the reasons the sound track is so good.

Asie was recorded, when he didn't want to be, by Fat Possum Records. We all owe them. They handle some pretty good ones: the late Junior Kimbrough, the late R.L. Burnside, the Black Keys for a while, The Heartless Bastards. I consider this song Asie's best.

I was lucky to be in the audience on this night. Having now seen Ms. Jones in two states, I can say with confidence that she leaves a trail of fans wherever she goes.

@TheDrLighthouse - True statement. However, Roky Erickson did a comeback set on Austin City Limits. His backup guitarist then was Billy Gibbons. It's worth a watch.
